Jump to recording info | Jump to lyricsI wrote this song a long time ago (mid 90s) and introduced it to my band fuzzy logic. We ended up playing it at almost every gig. I definitely need to thank John for the “You can only blame yourself” line at the end of each verse — it really adds to the humor.
The banter in the intro was lifted off of an old fuzzy logic tape from a Labor Day party we played outside in Warwick. You can hear me, John, and EJ suggesting to play “something new”. EJ, a little annoyed by the fact that he was getting eaten alive came out with “let’s play ‘I’m gettin’ eaten alive by mosquito song!’”
Anyway, I hope you like it and can relate at some level!
