Lyrics

You cannot be limited by your new restraint
Even as the days turn black and faint
I’m afraid for you
And it’s overdue

Distant sounds sound like a new battle cry
Why can’t The Man back out his plans and say goodbye
I’m afraid he’s proud
Shopping for your shroud

He wants you to move

Take to the streets, speak up, and make yourself heard
Make him hear each and every word
But I’m afraid he’s deaf
To your bereft

He wants you to move
He wants you to...

...have no voice, stand silently still
...have no choice, give away all your will
...have no hope and get sicker until
no fight’s in you, no life’s in you. So don’t move!

Make it loud and louder than the time before
Even if he keeps on keeping up his war
I’m afraid he’ll force
A bitter divorce

He wants you to move
He wants you to...

...have no voice, stand silently still
...have no choice, give away all your will
...have no hope and get sicker until
no fight’s in you, no life’s in you. So don’t move!

Don’t move
Don’t move

I like the sound of the lead a lot. I tried a few different settings, but what I ended up with was a little compression as well as a little reverb. I also cranked the mid on the EQ and set my gain to about midway.
